For merchants providing electric vehicle charging services under MCC 5552, the recommended transaction flow is to obtain an authorization with a CreditAuth prior to charging, and then complete the authorization with a CreditAddToBatch for the final amount.

Within the CreditAuth request, AmountIndicator should be sent as 'E' (estimated).

When the CreditAddToBatch is processed, Portico automatically submits a reversal for the difference between the original and final amounts, to ensure those funds are available to the cardholder.
