For merchants in Mexico processing on the GSAP-NA authorization platform, installment payments are managed solely within a CreditAuth or CrediSale request. Installment payments in Mexico are supported for Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Carnet, and Mexico-issued Privada / Propia cards.

The IPSelectedTerms data block should be present in the request.  The Program field is optional.

For this region, the following fields in the IPSelectedTerms data block are applicable:

NbrInstallments	Required	The number of months the cardholder will be billed
InstallmentPlan	Required	Indicates the terms, such as whether interest will be applied
GracePeriod	Required	The period before the first payment

 

 

When sending installment payment data, the currency of the transaction must be Mexican Pesos.  See Transaction Currency.
